Norway Ski Touring Adventure

Discover the spectacular Lyngen Alps on a land-based ski touring adventure in Northern Norway. Combining dramatic mountain scenery, long descents to the fjords and peaceful surroundings far from the crowds, this trip offers an unforgettable way to experience Arctic skiing while staying in the comfort of a luxury fjord-side cabin.

  • The Lyngen Alps are one of Europe's most rewarding ski touring destinations. Rising directly from the sea, they offer breathtaking scenery, long descents to the fjords and an incredible variety of terrain, allowing us to tailor each day to the conditions and the group's ambitions.

    March is the perfect time to visit, with longer days, the chance of excellent snow and the opportunity to experience the Northern Lights. Depending on the conditions, we may also take a short ferry to the quiet island of Uløya, where fewer visitors, spectacular summit-to-sea descents and panoramic views create a true Arctic ski touring experience.

  • Every day we'll head into the mountains in search of the best skiing, selecting objectives to suit the weather, snowpack and avalanche conditions.

  • Whether you're relatively new to off-piste skiing and ski touring or very experienced, this trip can be tailored to suit your skiing ability and ambitions. The variety of terrain in the Lyngen Alps allows us to choose objectives that match the group while making the most of the prevailing conditions.

    A reasonable level of fitness is required, as we'll be touring each day, although the pace and objectives can be adapted to the group.

    We'll provide instruction and support throughout the week, helping you develop your ski touring skills and confidence while enjoying everything this remarkable destination has to offer.

  • We'll stay in a luxury fjord-side cabin overlooking the water, providing a comfortable base for the week. After each day in the mountains, relax with excellent food while taking in the spectacular Arctic surroundings.

    Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included throughout your stay.

    Luxury Sky Suites and Glass Igloos may also be available as optional upgrades.
